A brief overview
Mathieu Halm started in the (Re)insurance industry in 2002 as a Political Risk Underwriter, working in New York, Paris and London before joining the CCR Group in 2009 as a Credit, Surety & Political Risk Underwriter as well as Retrocession.
He took over responsibility for these two activities in 2013. In 2017 with the creation of CCR Re he has been appointed Head of Retro & Strategy which gave him the opportunity to lead the implementation of the first ILS plateforme under French law, 157 Re.
Since 2022, he is Chief Retrocession & Alternative Capital Officer and member of the Executive Commity.
Today he ensures that he provide and implement the best possible solutions to support CCR Re's growth.
